Froglogger VI-LS7

The FL-VI-LS7 fulfills the traditional role of the "Froglogger" with high quality components at a minimal cost. The heart of the system is the Olympus handheld recorder which includes the timer/control functions in it's firmware.

The main components include the Olympus LS7, a watertight enclosure, built-in high quality stereo microphones and a battery assembly which includes a 5v requlator and USB cable.

The LS7 can be powered for long periods of time, weeks or even months, depending on the recording times set in the recorder and the condition of the batteries used. The LS7 is powered externally via the USB port which requires a regulated 5v source.

The microphones are characterized by high sensitivity and very low self-noise which enables them to detect animal vocalizations at a significant distance from the system. Included for the microphones are foam windscreens (not shown).
