We are finishing up the development of a new "froglogger" model. Froglogger Model 5e This model is designed to be less expensive for those who need many frogloggers to cover a large area. This model uses an Olympus voice recorder.
The Froglogger Model V comes in a weatherproof Pelican case. Inside is a microcomputer timer/control unit along with a PMD620 SD flash recorder.
An additonal model will be available with the features listed above plus an audio output amplifier to drive an external speaker. This feature will use stored .mp3 files to produce the audio output.

Future:
An even more advanced unit may automatically transmit its data to a centra location for recording. Also, optionally, logged in this advanced unit will be wind speed, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, light level, carbon monoxide level and rainfall.
We are also developing a series of miniature data-loggers suitable for attaching to various animals. One model will also collect temperature data that can be downloaded. Some of these will have wireless connectivity.
